Once a month, I will update you on how Real Estate prices are trending in the different neighborhoods. 

Green Hills Area

The Green Hills Area has seen a nice price increase of $39,000 in the last six months. The area has averaged two sales per month for a monthly price average of $1,078,000.  The lowest monthly average price of the last six months was $1,000,000, and the highest monthly average price of the last six months was $1,200,000. Homes are still selling quickly. Sales for the last six months have averaged five days on the market to get into escrow.

Overall, the Green Hills Area is doing very well. The demand for this area has always been strong and will stay strong because of the neighborhood. Now that most of the homes have been remodeled, this tract has become like a tract of homes in Orange County but at better prices than you can get in Orange County.

City of La Mirada

In the last six months, the City of La Mirada averaged 20.3 sales per month. These sales had an average monthly price range of $934,000 to $1,008,000, with an average price of $956,000. The average number of days it took to sell was 17. 

When we compare the six-month monthly average price of $956,000 to the twelve-month monthly average price of $944,000, we can see that prices have increased by $12,000.

Overall, the City of La Mirada is doing very well. The demand for this area has always been strong and will stay strong because of the family atmosphere that the city has always promoted. For a small city, La Mirada has diverse opportunities for all ages. To name a few of these opportunities: Good Schools, Diverse Churches, a Golf Course, a wide variety of Sports and Recreation facilities, a world-class Regional Park, and Senior Services.
