Once a month, I will update you on how Real Estate prices are trending in the different neighborhoods. 

Landmark Area

The Landmark Area has seen a price increase of $102,000 in the last six months. The area has averaged 0.3 sales per month for a monthly price average of $1,405,000.  The lowest monthly average price of the last six months was $1,303,000, and the highest monthly average price of the last six months was $1,510,000. Homes are still selling quickly. Sales for the last six months have averaged 20 days on the market to get into escrow.

Overall, the Landmark Area is doing very well. The demand for this area has always been strong and will stay strong because of the neighborhood. Since this tract is much newer than most of the homes in La Mirada that were built in the 1950s and it is next to the Hillsboro area, this tract is considered more like a tract of homes in Orange County but at better prices than you can get in Orange County.  This is especially true of the homes that have had a complete remodel in the last 5-10 years.

City of La Mirada

In the last six months, the City of La Mirada averaged 20.3 sales per month. These sales had an average monthly price range of $934,000 to $1,008,000, with an average price of $956,000. The average number of days it took to sell was 17. 

When we compare the six-month monthly average price of $956,000 to the twelve-month monthly average price of $944,000, we can see that prices have increased by $12,000.

Overall, the City of La Mirada is doing very well. The demand for this area has always been strong and will stay strong because of the family atmosphere that the city has always promoted. For a small city, La Mirada has diverse opportunities for all ages. To name a few of these opportunities: Good Schools, Diverse Churches, a Golf Course, a wide variety of Sports and Recreation facilities, a world-class Regional Park, and Senior Services.
