South West La Mirada Six-Month Price Summary

The six-month monthly average price for this neighborhood was $897,000, compared with $892,000 for the six months before that. This gives South West La Mirada an increase of $5,000 in the average monthly price over the last six months. The lowest monthly average was $858,000, and the highest monthly average was $968,000.  Even with a $110,000 difference between the high and low prices, overall prices have remained relatively stable over the past six months.  This price difference can be attributed to the difference between a typical home in the neighborhood and one that has added more square feet, a pool, or extensive upgrades.

This neighborhood has averaged 4.7 sales per month over the last six months. Homes are still selling quickly in La Mirada, with an average of 21 days to sell. Over the previous six months, South West La Mirada has averaged 25 days on the market before entering escrow.

Overall, South West La Mirada is doing well. Demand for this neighborhood has always been good. With two parks at the ends, Neff and Windermere, for family time.  There is Escalona Elementary School is in the middle. There is also Biola University near the north-west section, and the shopping center near the south-east section.
